企业不办医保职工可向政府劳动保障部门举报

    2007年8月23日15时，国务院城镇居民基本医疗保险部际联席会议办公室主任、劳动保障部副部长胡晓义接受中国政府网专访，就城镇居民基本医疗保险试点问题与网民进行在线交流。

    [网友鸟王义]职工退休，企业不给办理医疗保险怎么办？劳动局的监察大队有责任查处这样的企业吗？

    [胡晓义]如果这个企业是生产经营都是比较正常的企业，不给退休人员或者职工缴纳医疗保险费，职工完全可以向政府劳动部门举报，督促企业履行自己的职责和义务。但也有不少企业已经破产或者濒临破产，确实无力缴纳社会保险费的，这个事情，我们也正在完善职工医疗保险制度的过程中，作为专题来研究，准备提出相应的措施。
