【全程】5小时穿梭京沪3分钟发一趟车

    京沪高铁全长1318公里，总投资约1600亿元。全线设计运行时速300公里、最高时速350公里。全程共设21个车站，分别为:北京南——廊坊——天津西——华苑——沧州——德州——济南——泰安——曲阜——枣庄——徐州——宿州——蚌埠——滁州——南京——镇江——常州——无锡——苏州——昆山——上海虹桥。

    预计2010年投入试运行后，5小时将穿梭京沪两地，比目前京沪铁路上最快的动车组缩短5小时，年单方向预计输送旅客8000余万人次。同时，从上海去往哈尔滨、沈阳、包头、兰州、西安、成都、乌鲁木齐和从北京去往华东的旅客，均会因此而大大缩短旅行时间。

    据介绍，投入运营后，京沪高铁将实行高密度、公交化的发车班次，最高有望达到每3分钟一个班次。不过，届时一个班次的高铁列车一般不会在全线21个站点逐个停靠，每列车的终点及沿途停靠站有所不同，乘客需事先了解有关列车信息。
