商务部副部长:中国致力扩大进口

    中国商务部副部长高虎城日前表示，中国不能简单采取抑制出口的方法解决贸易不平衡问题，而要通过转变经济增长和外贸增长方式，同时扩大进口方面努力，动态和发展地调整中国贸易顺差增长过快的趋势。

    他在北京大学举办的一个研讨会后向媒体表示，中国将从6月1日起调整的关税税率旨在抑制两高一资(高能耗，高污染和资源性)产品的出口，这对调整经济及外贸增长方式不仅有短期效果，从长远看意义更加深远。

    他认为，虽然2007年1-4月的贸易顺差增长仍然较快，但政府会在结构调整方面及扩大进口和便利化方面加大工作，包括在所需要的设备、技术，以及老百姓生产和生活需求多样化方面，会进一步扩大进口，下半年会出现比较好的势头。

    数据显示，中国4月贸易顺差为168.8亿美元。4月当月出口为974.5亿美元，同比增长26.8%；进口为805.7亿美元，同比增长21.3%。1-4月出口为3，495.2亿美元，同比增长27.5%；进口为2，862.1亿美元，同比增长19.1%。据此计算，中国1至4月贸易顺差为633.1亿美元。
