两部门通知:明年起上调企业退休人员基本养老金

    经国务院批准，劳动和社会保障部、财政部日前联合下发通知，决定从2008年1月1日起，为2007年12月31日前已按规定办理退休手续的企业退休人员提高基本养老金水平。

    据介绍，此次调整企业退休人员基本养老金，采取普遍调整和特殊调整相结合的办法，调整的水平将高于2007年的调整水平。调整时与退休人员的缴费年限、缴费水平和年龄等挂钩。

    为把党中央、国务院的决策落到实处，劳动保障部专门召开会议作出部署，要求各地高度重视，将其作为一项政治任务，在认真测算的基础上，抓紧制定调整方案并组织实施，确保在2008年春节前将调整后的基本养老金发放到企业退休人员手中。同时，要求各地扩大养老保险覆盖面，加强基金征缴，调整财政支出结构，增加对养老保险的补助力度，提高企业职工基本养老保险基金的支付能力，为后两年调整打下基础。
