这不是一条普通的路，它让习惯以码头文化自嘲的人们可以骄傲地说:我们也有了外滩！

1998年南滨路正式开工；2002年初，其一期工程8公里全线通车；很快，酒肆茶楼绵延不绝，大俗大雅，兼容并包......几乎一夜间，南滨路俨然成为了重庆的一张名片。随着2003年底，海棠烟雨公园，黄葛晚渡音乐广场、宏声美食街、南滨路花街等相继建成，南滨路开始有了更丰富的内涵和更具体的装扮。(摘自华龙网）
