中国消除贫困奖评选

中国消除贫困奖通过独立的评选委员会和公众投票共同评选产生，世界银行、联合国开发计划署、王光美、已故的天津白芳礼老人、等单位和个人分别为前两届获奖人。中国消除贫困奖评选表彰活动得到党和政府，以及国际社会的高度重视和积极支持。温家宝总理为第二届中国消除贫困奖做出重要批示，回良玉副总理连续两届出席颁奖仪式，亲自为获奖者颁奖。前联合国秘书长科菲·安南特为前两届中国消除贫困奖发来贺信，高度评价了中国消除贫困奖评选表彰活动的作用和意义。本届消贫奖将邀请世界银行首席经济师林毅夫担任评委会主席。
