物流中心商贸强区

    依托资源和区位优势，惠城区积极实施“商贸兴区”战略，构筑以“商贸流通业，现代物流业，休闲旅游业，房地产业”为重点的经济新体系，将惠城打造成为粤东现代商贸物流中心。

    商贸业：

    沃尔玛、吉之岛等国际商业巨头相继落户惠城。

    国美，苏宁、百佳世纪联华、天虹、丽日等国内商业品牌也在惠城区百花齐放。

    旅游业：

    拥有雅居乐白鹭湖度假区，富力洲际温泉度假区，中信汤泉度假区等休闲度假区，并配套建成了康帝国际酒店，富力万丽酒店，富力洲际温泉度假酒店，皇冠洲际假日酒店，惠州凯宾司基饭店等五星级酒店，惠城区的旅游经济因此更显光彩夺目。

    物流业：建成了义乌小商品批发城、金泽国际物流园、惠州农产品批发中心等一批专业市场，初步具备了粤东商贸中心的功能。
