打造“珠三角东部旅游胜地”

加快雅居乐白鹭湖休闲度假区、富力洲际温泉度假村和以中山文化公园为主体的古街景区三大重点项目建设。推动南旋假日、凯宾斯基、富力万丽等一批五星级酒店建设，提升惠城区旅游接待的档次和水平。充分挖掘当地生态资源、历史文化和民间演艺，继续擦亮"元宵灯会"、"龙舟赛"、"美食嘉年华"和"麒麟文化节"等节庆品牌，完善旅游基础设施，发展休闲观光旅游项目，促使旅游业成为新的经济增长点。在"十一五"期末把惠城建设成集观光、休闲、度假为一体的珠三角东部旅游胜地。
