公路春运今日开始严处客车超员超速疲劳驾驶

    公路春运今日正式启动，到3月2日结束。昨(21)日，记者从省公安厅交警总队获悉，我省各级公安交警部门已全面做好各项准备工作，近万名交警进入战备状态。

    2008年公路春运将以客运车辆为重点，严厉查处客车超员、超速、疲劳驾驶等违法行为。1月23日起，全省所有交通干线、高速公路的春运道路交通安全执勤点全部启动，各地和高速公路的一级固定执勤点24小时值勤，加强对客运车辆的安全检查。同时，集中排查校车安全隐患，坚决遏制重特大交通事故的发生。

    1月20日前，全省参加春运的公路客运车辆进行了一次安全技术状况全面检查，长途客运车辆营运路线也进行了全面排查，达不到夜间安全通行要求的路段及时调整了客运路线或停止夜间营运。
