　　建筑面积：47410平方米

　　固定座位数：5000个

　　临时座位数：2000个

　　建设开工时间：2006年4月1日

　　计划完工时间：2007年下半年

　　国家奥林匹克体育中心体育馆在2008年北京奥运会期间，将承担手球预赛和1/4决赛以及残奥会的盲人门球、轮椅篮球、轮椅击剑、轮椅橄榄球的训练任务。赛后则将满足国家队训练、全民健身以及相关大型活动的需求。
